Marketing Analyst

Location: York

Attractive Salary, 4 1/2 Day Working Week and Flexible Benefits

Introduction

 

An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Analyst within the Marketing Department of the Portakabin Group, a market leader in the modular buildings industry and part of the Shepherd Group, a privately owned business with a turnover in excess of £600m.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

Working within the Marketing Team ,we are seeking to recruit an individual who can provide high quality, accurate data and analysis. This pivotal role is hugely exciting with responsibility for collecting, analyzing and reporting on the key marketing statistics of the group. You will analyze data from the entire company and provide major insights to senior management. You will be able to champion your recommendations throughout the organization and, with major business decisions based on your work, this role has enormous responsibility and importance.

 

 

Skills Required

 

You may have a maths , computing or a business degree. You will be extremely capable in Excel and have experience in Access. A knowledge of crystal report writing, powerpoint, goldmine, SAP and SPSS are desirable but not essential as training will be given. IT and analytical skills are more important than experience within marketing (training will be given). You will have extremely high levels of attention to detail and numeracy. You should be motivated and excited about analysis and its importance to an organization.

 

Experience

 

You might have been a business analyst, database administrator or systems administrator in a previous role or have other relevant business experience supporting a busy department.
