Requirement: A major refurbishment and rebuilding programme at Peugeot City Motors in Newcastle meant that the used car sales operation needed to relocate to a disused petrol forecourt adjacent to the site. The forecourt provides space for more than 100 cars, but new accommodation was needed to house the team of five salesmen and the sales manager. 

Solution: General Sales Manager, John Tighe, says: “We needed interim accommodation for about 18 months, until the brand-new showroom was completed. The building provides a large open-plan office area for the five salesmen, incorporating a comfortable reception for customers with a seating and television area. At one end of the building, a partition wall creates a separate office for the sales manager.
