To mark the occasion, Portakabin, the UK’s leading modular building provider, also invited businesses in the area to join the team in its celebrations. All attendees got the opportunity to learn more about how Portakabin products and services can benefit their business.
Gill Head, Manager at the Portakabin Merseyside Hire Centre on Knowsley Business Park, Prescot, said, ‘We’re delighted to be marking our tenth anniversary and are pleased that so many companies that we work with in the local area came along to celebrate with us.
‘The Open Days had a real party atmosphere with plenty of food and drink for everyone to enjoy. Visitors got the exclusive opportunity to see our full range of buildings and services, many of which were brought in especially for the occasion, including the new Portakabin Solus the first and only building of its kind to be designed without telescopic legs. Visitors on the day also received a voucher entitling them to one month’s free building hire.’
’All in all the days have proved to be a tremendous success and have enabled us to win some significant business.’
As part of the anniversary celebrations, Portakabin is also sponsoring the Business and Computing Student of the Year Award at Knowsley Community College, which will see the most improved student rewarded with a cash prize.
