How can Portakabin Interiors help me?
Portakabin Interiors will work with your local Hire Centre to plan the internal layout of your new building. This ensures that all your staff fit comfortably within their new environment. We provide a range of high-quality furniture, and the flexibility and reassurance of Portakabin.
What type of finance deals are available?
Our furniture is offered on the same hire terms as our buildings. However, if you prefer to purchase the furniture, or hire for a period and then purchase, we can accommodate these requirements quickly and simply.
Do your designs meet building regulations?
Yes, our team of trained designers will ensure that the designs we supply meet building regulations.
How many people can you accommodate?
Portakabin Interiors can plan to accommodate any number of people, from one to more than 1,000.
Is the furniture available from stock?
For orders of up to 100 workstations, we are able to provide furniture from stock. For larger orders, a longer lead time will be required, which will be agreed with you prior to your order.
What is the average delivery time?
Deliveries of fewer than 100 workstations are available within 48 to 72 working hours, and are generally co-ordinated with the delivery of your building. Deliveries of more than 100 workstations can be supplied within three working weeks.
How much time will you require on site?
Thanks to the simple, modular nature of Portakabin Interiors products, we can assemble up to 40 workstations in one working day. That's one complete workstation every 12 minutes! For larger jobs, we will brief you on the length of time we will need to be on site.
Do you offer anything other than furniture?
Yes. Working with your local Hire Centre, we can offer a range of bespoke partitioning, lighting, telephone and data communications options.
What are the main features of your furniture?
Portakabin Interiors' range of furniture has been designed and engineered with a number of key features that provide flexibility and functionality. Configurations can be extended and reconfigured easily, and individual components are designed to maximise space. For example, our integrated three-drawer pedestal, which comes as standard with most workstations, allows storage within the footprint of the desk - ensuring the best possible use of space.
How do you cope with all of the cables in a modern office?
There are a number of solutions. Portakabin Interiors furniture includes a cable management system as standard, which should be sufficient for most offices. However, for larger offices with clusters of workstations, additional options include cable baskets and bespoke power and data modules for worktops. To help maximise space, we can also supply CPU cradles, which attach to the underside of the desk.
Can I have the furniture in my corporate colours?
Yes. Portakabin Interiors operates a hire fleet, which has a standard colour range. However, it is possible for us to supply furniture in other colour schemes on request.
